Bold Helvetica is, above all, the story of Daniel and Mathieu, two passionate industrial designers who, after more than a decade of collaborating in a multinational medical technology company, decided to put their expertise and shared passion for sports, mechanics, and innovation into their own business.
Founded with the goal of delivering satisfaction and innovation to its clients, Bold Helvetica specializes in designing robust, reliable, and repairable mechanical parts, deliberately avoiding planned obsolescence. Our startup caters to a diverse clientele, ranging from high-tech simulator enthusiasts to industries seeking custom solutions.
Dissatisfied with the market offerings, Daniel and Mathieu identified and bridged the gap between amateur-market solutions and industrial products. At Bold Helvetica, people are at the heart of our approach, ensuring that our products and services meet the specific needs of each client.

Mathieu embodies the strategic thinking within the team. As a mechanical design engineer, he demonstrates strong pragmatism and excels in creating robust, reliable, and highly precise components. For over seventeen years, he dedicated his expertise to a company specializing in implantable medical technology.
With a natural optimism and a subtle offbeat sense of humor, Mathieu leverages his analytical mind to design simple and effective solutions. Passionate about motorsports, Muay Thai, 3D printing, video games, and alternative cinema, he forms a perfectly complementary duo with Daniel.

As a seasoned mechanical designer, Daniel boasts over thirty years of experience across diverse fields, including aeronautics, the watchmaking industry, medical technology, and the CERN research department. His innovative and unconventional approach enables him to develop remarkably effective solutions.
With an enthusiastic and dynamic personality, Daniel thrives on creativity and discovery, relentlessly exploring new fields that fuel his inner drive. Passionate about motorsports, aeronautics, and survivalism—anything that helps him build resilience—he places great importance on ecological challenges and sustainable development.
